The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Mockumentary Teaser
The celebrated musician is preparing for a substantial cinematic presence in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
In the film, Charli embodies what she calls as a hell version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever seen, the performer commented.
She further explained in a conversation: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept stemmed from the demand to create one.
An Early Look into The Project
The initial preview, launched on recently, blends authentic footage from her live performances with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.
The film is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the story centers on a reality where the artist took completely different paths during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

A Hectic Film Calendar
The mockumentary is just one of numerous forthcoming screen roles for Charli, who already starred in three independent movies in the current year.

She also took on her own role in the comedy series Overcompensating.
Future Ventures
Next year will also see the artist together with Olivia Wilde in erotic drama I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in scary reboot Faces of Death.
Additionally, she signed on to star in the star’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.
I’m deeply appreciating my acting journey, the performer stated. I feel very, very inspired right now in this area, and I only ever want to do projects that excite me.
Soundtrack Involvement
Next February will also see the launch of Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will feature fresh tracks from the singer.
She will also provide music for the film Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.
The film is scheduled to debut on 30 January.
