Prolific writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A representative for the firm stated: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was reached following an review of claims about conduct deemed unsuitable involving women.
The firm declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works in total, encompassing a Christmas book named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins this past October.
A Dual Career
His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
